Marlborough Basement Needs Professional Water Removal

As shown in the Before Photo, this Marlborough basement had a large amount of water damage seep in after heavy rains in the area. SERVPRO technicians extracted as much of the water as possible and then set up air movers positioned closely together to encourage embedded water vapor to rise out of the concrete. Because only a portion of the basement was affected by the water, SERVPRO techs moved items that were up against the wall to another side of the room. The After Photo shows the air movers have dried the wall and floor. Afterward, the technicians will clean the area and if the property owner desires, the technicians can give suggestions for actions that can be taken to halt water entering the basement in the future.
